“There is one thing one must have, either a cheerful soul that is cheerful by nature, or a soul made cheerful by work, love, art and knowledge.” Fraedrich Nietzsche.
My soul is made cheerful especially by art. My passion for photography began in my teens, initially fascinated with the technical aspects later by the creative and artistic. My interest has always been traditional landscape. Unfortunately, I only rarely made time to pursue this passion. My career in medicine, geriatric medicine performing research/clinical trials on new drugs to treat Alzheimer’s disease was my excuse for not making time. Semi-retired now I have revisited photography as my creative outlet. It provides me with an immense amount of satisfaction.
My images have been published in the Lens Work monographs “Our Magnificent Planet” and “Light Glorious Light”, Landscape Photography magazine, and ICM Photography Magazine. Web Site: Marioc.myportfolio.com
